The choreographic and dramaturgical approaches of the workshop will be linked by repetition and transformation as starting points. We will explore some of the choreographic and dramaturgical tools that define cyclicity in dance. Repetition will be considered as a starting point for the development (and possible choreographic transformations) of a movement, dance or thematic motif; cyclicity as a possible dramaturgical change.

We will focus on the question of intentions and their articulation. Through practical and physical exercises we will explore how dramaturgy and music can contribute to the choreographic process, as partners in a dialogue.

During the workshop we will develop individual (solo) choreographic materials, as well as duets and group compositions. The emphasis will be on the independent creation of choreographic materials in relation to the offered compositional and thematic tools. The work will be conducted in dialogue between the mentor, each individual participant and in collaboration with other participants.
